Before you apply
Anyone can send an application. Tote reviews every application, and applying does not guarantee approval, a campaign offer, or earnings. If the current program is not a fit, Tote may keep your application on file for a future opportunity.
Driver requirements
- Be at least 21 years old.
- Keep a valid driver’s license and the insurance required where you drive.
- Own the vehicle or have permission from its owner or fleet manager.
- Drive primarily in a region Tote currently supports.
- Use a supported smartphone with a data connection.
- Complete camera tasks and other campaign steps only while safely parked.
- Drive normally. Never add trips, mileage, or unsafe behavior for compensation.
- Have no lease, employer, fleet, rideshare, or other restriction that prevents an approved advertising placement.
Vehicle requirements
- Be a compatible passenger car, crossover, SUV, hatchback, or minivan no more than 12 model years old when you apply.
- Have a permanent license plate, current registration, and a verifiable VIN.
- Be in good condition with clean, intact paint on every installation surface.
- Have no rust, peeling clear coat, paint failure, unrepaired collision damage, large dents, or other damage where media may be installed.
- Have no wrap, decal, modification, camera, sensor, light, plate, or body contour that conflicts with a safe placement.
- Be available for installation, required evidence, and removal.
Good condition is required. Tote does not waive it based on subjective preference. The current program does not accept motorcycles, trailers, window-mounted media, unverified vehicles, or pickup trucks whose exact placement has not passed material and safety review.
Campaign fit is separate
Approval means you may be considered for Tote campaigns. Each offer still depends on normal-driving overlap, timing, vehicle compatibility, available inventory, and campaign needs. Tote will never ask you to change your normal routes or drive extra miles to qualify.
Photos come later
Vehicle photos are not part of the initial application. If Tote needs current photos or another detail during review, the request appears separately in the driver app and tells you exactly what to send.
